About the Role

The Business Development Representative (BDR) is a strategic sales person who is a well-organized, self-starter and is capable of creating and maintaining strong relationships. Primary duties include: new business prospecting, email communication, outbound calling, setting and leading prospective customer meetings, moving prospects through the sales process and driving net new revenue.

In this Role, You’ll Get To

  • Source new leads and convert them to qualified prospects 
  • Conduct high volume sales prospecting to identify new revenue opportunities and progress them through the entire sales cycle
  • Increase TTS visibility in our target markets through chambers of commerce, Meetups, referral partners, etc. 
  • Educate and advise corporate customers on the various options for tech talent acquisition
  • Align the TTS solution to the customer’s business needs, challenges, and technical requirements
  • Regularly meet with Sales Manager to review sales activities, progress on goals, and status of prospective customers 
  • Utilize and maintain company provided CRM with complete and up-to-date information on all stages of assigned prospects and customers
  • Set yourself up for a successful career by learning the necessary fundamentals to be a great salesperson, leader, and executive

We’re Looking for Someone Who Has:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, preferably in an outbound sales 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to hop on the phone with new people every single day and explain TTS’s value proposition as it relates to each individual
  • Positive and hard-working mindset along with a desire to win
  • Empathy for colleagues and customers
  • A self-starter able to operate autonomously with little direction
  • A keenly developed competitive nature
  • Detail oriented and able to systematically and consistently establish and follow a process or sales cadence
  • Preferred but not required:
    • Two years’ experience as a successful sales representative with B2B cold calling and hunting experience 
    • Previous sales experience in which you demonstrated the ability to meet or exceed sales quotas
    • Experience working with Hubspot or a similar CRM
